:shrug: In Japanese mythology, when a cat reaches ten years of age, it's tail splits in two, and they become intelligent enough to walk on their hind legs and speak human languages. On top of that, they gain the ability to perform necromancy or shamanism. If said cat was abused, it will raise the dead of the offender's family and haunt them until appeased with attention and food. They eat carrion; Dead flesh.
